August 5, 1997: The Return of ChiatDay
When Steve Jobs was ousted from Apple, Chiat\Day soon followed. Obviously, feeling the move was a mistake Steve took out an ad saying that Apple had made a huge blunder by axing Chiat\Day.
In full control of Apple for the first time Steve quickly switched the advertising account back to Chiat\Day.
The news that Apple was going back to Chiat\Day was announced this week in 1997.
