Description

The Apple Studio Display (21-inch CRT) was a Trinitron monitor with a 19.8” viewable area.  It could display millions of colors with a DPI of 85 at a number of resolutions.

History

Released concurrently with the Power Macintosh G3 Blue and White, the Apple Studio Display (21-inch CRT) was shipped in a Blueberry translucent case that had a similar style to the iMac.

Timeline

Introduced in January 1999, the Apple Studio Display (21-inch CRT) began shipping in Graphite in August when the new Power Macintosh G4s were released.  It was terminated in July 2000.
