Description

Running a Motorola 68LC040 processor at 33Mhz, the Macintosh LC 575 was the first Macintosh to have a communications expansion slot that allowed for the use of network or modem cards.

History

Both the LC 550 and the LC 575 were popular with consumers. The communications slot in the LC 575 would become standard in the rest of the Performa line. The LC 575 was also sold as the Performa 575, Performa 577 and Performa 578.

That computer looks so ancient! I can’t believe how technology has evolved from ‘94 to these days. I would have loved to install some exe file extensions on this Macintosh and see how it’s going.
