I know several people who own non Apple of MP3 players. All of these devices are in the sub $100 category. I saw my first Zune in the wild the other day in Manhattan. While I do not know a Zune owner, I also do not know an iPhone owner. My friends are business oriented people who use Blackberry and Treo devices. Just as the iPod is on the upswing somewhere under my radar, it seems that the Zune is also making inroads. It has moved up considerably on the Amazon Bestseller list. Although I wouldn't buy one at this time, it seems there are others who find it satisfactory. That's hard for Apple fans to swallow, but I believe that the Zune is here to stay, which is something we can all rejoice over. More competition means better products. Whatever eventually replaces my iPod will be a much improved device.
You are not only arrogant, you are also ignorant. I love my Macs, but I run a Mac/PC office. My PCs work -- or should I say -- "They just work!" So do my Macs, but they do different tasks. (Don't tell me to buy a Mac and use Parallels when a PC can do it for less than half the cost. And don't tell me I can get the same programs on a Mac. That will just compound the evidence of your ignorance.) My home may be Macs only, but my office will be happily mixed for the near future. It's not always a matter of which computer "is better." It's often about which computer is better for each task. I can see from your "stop being stupid" remark why PC users hate Mac users. You're arrogance is only surpassed by your ignorance.

Perfect? It's useless to me without voice dialing. It takes 4-6 steps to make a call on the iPhone. My cheap Moto - one push of a button as i say "office" will take me to my secretary.
Beautiful, yes. Fun, yes. Innovative, yes. Productive, no. Perfect, it has a ways to go.
I'm a long-time Mac user in a five-Mac home who uses a Powerbook at work despite the harassment of colleagues. I also live in a high-tech town where every other person is a techie. Even the most platform neutral geeks and Linux advocates I've met agree that Vista is a winner. Who cares what they've copied! If it works, people will use it. They used Windows even when it stunk! The point is, Mac users should stop snipping at MS and just tout their stuff. I'm sick of Mac whining.
I'm the lone Mac user in a PC organization. I won't give up my Mac, but the PC's work fine. There are advantages to both platforms.
How many people really care how a PC looks if it gets the job done?
