You know, that whole market share = vulnerability thing is a crock. Those same people say Firefox will be put up to the same spy/crap/adware IE stands with -- but I think we can all agree Firefox is a safer browser than IE. Despite the market share, there are loads of people working to figure out vulnerabilities in OS X, Windows, Firefox and IE. Apple takes transparent care to fix any newly discovered faults in OS X and we all know how fast Firefox' turnaround time is for bugs.

I'm addicted to using firefox's ability to accept strings in the URL bar to go to the I'm Feeling Lucky result. I'm too lazy to type in .com or .org in any other browser now. I also like the dictionary 'dict' thing I'm not sure if either renders faster, but I DO like how firefox displays AS it renders. Safari likes to load it all then display it all at once. Sort of reminds me of Netscape Navigator

Lets not bash BZFlag, as it is a classic and ported to all major platforms. It's amazing that so many people play it, so SOMEONE enjoys it. I found it to be a fantastic game to introduce LAN gaming to my 7 year old cousin. I don't know about memory intensive. Maybe it is for OS X, but it plays the same on a 300mhz BSD box as it does on a 1.33ghz powerbook.

hooray. seriously. hooray Heh, as an alternative to fixing that bug you could have just changed the background to a light solid color instead of the stripes that it is now. may have still been broken, but it would have been readable

Firefox users rejoice!
I [like to] believe that Microsoft's Office dev team right now is able to operate totally out of the box from the people that work on IE and the core win32 operating systems. I'm no MS proponent, but Office 2003 for Windows is a MORE than solid application suite and is considerably more lightweight than any of its predecessors. Office v.X for Mac is wonderful as far as I can tell, and I imagine 2004 is only more streamlined and cleaner. This is one area that I do not mind Microsoft keeping a hold of.
