MWCP was never meant to be a big deal for Apple. They originally weren't even going to come when it was still called MWNY. Remember WWDC? That's where they showed the "good" stuff. When new PBs are ready, Apple will send out a press release. If there's a completely new product, Apple will announce a Special Event. They've done it in the past you know. Anything other then a recap of software and hardware just introudced was just wishful thinking.
